The beautiful display of fall leaves is just about gone, with the wind and rain we have had in the last couple of days have all but blown them away. We certainly can’t complain, it has been a beautiful fall. We even had some snow flurries here this AM. Maybe winter is going to come early this year.
Most of us were treated with the appearance of some Trick-or-Treaters on Halloween evening. Some great costumes and delightful gremlins.
Book Club
We had a good lively meeting of the book club at Linda W. house. We had good attendance and could come up with a great list of books for our reading pleasure.
The 1st of the season will be The Prayer Box, author Lisa Wingate. We will be meeting at Betty’s – Unit 210 on Nov. 13th. Be sure to let Betty know if you will be going so she can plan. Unfortunately, I won’t be there.
Traveling neighbors
It sounds like Cheri had a good time on her trip. She was able to get together with Luis and CJ for lunch. Unfortunately, she had to cut her trip short a couple of days because of the unrest in Barcelona.
I’m off to NYC for a week with a friend. Jerry is staying home and keeping the home fires burning.
Edy has been off on another work trip to Sweden again, I haven’t had a chance to chat with her to hear about her
trip.
Celebrating
Don and Donna Olsen will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary soon. Congratulations.
